As the holiday season approaches, photographers and professionals in the creative industry have to gear up for one of the busiest times of the year – the Christmas mini session season. While it has now settled and is coming to a close, amidst the hustle and bustle, it is essential to take a moment to express my biggest appreciation for the clients who trust me to capture their precious memories during this joyous time.

Let’s be real, my clients are the backbone of my business, and your support and trust is absolutely invaluable. I truly hope by showing my clients the love they absolutely deserve, that they not only continue to come back year after year, but send along their friends too! It’s honestly so nice when someone says, “Oh, so and so referred me to you!”. I don’t think you realize how much of a compliemtn word of mouth and referrals truly are. Appreciation is a powerful tool that can help us photographers stand out in a very saturated market and build a positive reputation and trust.

After each season, I am A L W A Y S asking my clients to send me Christmas cards! Never, ever, think that your photographer doesn’t want to see their images printed, whether it’s a print for your wall, or a Christmas card. It’s such a compliment to receive a Christmas card (or holiday card), with our images on it!

If you follow me, you know that for the last month or so, almost every day, I have been posting to my social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). Social media platforms provide an excellent opportunity to publicly appreciate you, the “clients”. Sometimes I honestly hate using the world “clients”. You guys aren’t my clients, it’s like, you instantly become my friends, my family. Your kids are like my little nieces and nephews! If you have posted your images, always, always, alwayssssss, feel free to tag me using “@kclinephotography” or just “Krystal Cline Photography”.

The Christmas mini session season is a time of joy, celebration, and gratitude. Celebrating the joy you all bring me and the gratitude. Taking a moment to appreciate you for your trust and support is something I will never be able to put into words. I will always be sure to say thank you when I see your posts, surprise you with full galleries (when you only purchased a mini), social media shoutouts for days, and the list goes on! This Christmas season, thank you! Thank you to all 123 of my clients who came to me and trusted me with your holiday memories this year. So many new faces, so many returning faces. And i honestly cannot wait to see what next year brings!
